YukTashish Driver — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how YukTashish ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the YukTashish Driver mobile application (the "App"). The App is intended for professional cargo drivers who accept and fulfil delivery orders placed through the YukTashish platform.
By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of your information as described below.
1. Who we are
The App is operated by YukTashish. The backend service that powers the App is hosted at api.yuktashish.uz. Our public-facing website is https://yuktashish.uz.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Phone number — used as your account identifier and verified via a one-time SMS code at registration and login.
- Profile details — first and last name, profile photo (optional), and any other information you enter on the profile screen.
- Vehicle information — vehicle type, make/model, licence plate, and load capacity, used to match you with appropriate orders.
- Chat messages — text messages you send to clients within an active order are routed through our servers so the recipient can receive them.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Precise location — while the App is running and you are on an active order, we collect GPS coordinates so the client and dispatcher can see the cargo's progress. Location is also used to surface nearby orders. Location collection stops when no active order is in progress and the App is in the background.
- Device and push token — Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration token, device model, OS version, and App version. The FCM token is sent to our backend so we can deliver order assignments, status updates, and chat notifications to your device.
- Authentication tokens — short-lived access and refresh JWT tokens are stored on your device in the platform's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android EncryptedSharedPreferences) so you stay signed in between sessions.
- Diagnostic data — basic crash and error information may be logged on the device for debugging. We do not currently send these logs to a third-party crash-reporting service.
2.3 Information from transactions
- Order history — pickup and drop-off addresses, cargo description, amount, agreed price, and timestamps for each order you accept.
- Wallet and top-up history — your driver-wallet balance, top-up amounts, and transaction status. Top-ups are processed by Payme; we receive transaction status from Payme but we do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or other raw card data.
3. How we use your information
- Authenticate you and keep your session active.
- Match you with relevant cargo orders based on your vehicle type and location.
- Show your live location to the client and the dispatcher while an order is in progress.
- Deliver push notifications about new orders, order status changes, chat messages, and balance events.
- Process driver-wallet top-ups and reconcile completed orders.
- Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- Comply with legal obligations under the laws of Uzbekistan.
4. Permissions we request
- Location (foreground and, where granted, background) — required to share live trip progress and to surface nearby orders. You can revoke this permission in your device settings, but the App will not be able to deliver active orders without it.
- Notifications — required to alert you about new orders and chat messages. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
- Camera and photo library (optional) — used only when you choose to set or update your profile photo.
5. How we share your information
We share information only as described below:
- With clients — when you accept an order, the client sees your name, vehicle details, and live location for the duration of that order.
- With service providers — Firebase (Google) for push notifications, and Payme for processing wallet top-ups. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own terms and privacy policies.
- For legal reasons — we may disclose information to comply with a lawful request from a competent authority, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of YukTashish, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
6. Data retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. After you request account deletion, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, completed-order and top-up records may be kept for the statutory period).
Live location pings are retained only as long as needed to operate the active order and produce a delivery audit trail.
7. Security
We use HTTPS for all communication between the App and our backend, and WSS for real-time channels (chat and driver location). Authentication tokens are stored in the platform's secure storage. Despite reasonable safeguards, no system is completely secure; you are responsible for keeping your phone locked and your account credentials private.
8. Your rights
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated personal information from within the App or by writing to support@yuktashish.uz.
- Withdrawal of consent — disable location, notifications, or other permissions at any time in your device settings.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@yuktashish.uz. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and at most within 30 days.
9. Children
The App is intended for licensed adult drivers and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
10. International transfers
Your information is primarily processed on servers located in or serving Uzbekistan. Some service providers (such as Firebase) may process limited data outside Uzbekistan; we rely on their contractual and security commitments to protect that data in transit and at rest.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you in the App and update the "Effective date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after the update means you accept the revised policy.
